Vida Verde Nature Education's Celebration & Benefit Brunch

December 5th and/or 6th in East Palo Alto, CA.

Vida Verde is the ONLY program in the Bay Area that provides free programming to 100% of the students we serve. Help us raise the funds to keep our programs free for students and be a part of the amazing community that supports this event!

Every year, between 40 and 60 volunteers help each day to make the magic happen behind the curtain. Volunteers are the secret sauce to pulling off this event, and having folks like YOU, that care about educational equity in the outdoors, is what makes this event truly special. 

Volunteers can receive up to 16 hours of community service credit. 

One-day volunteers will receive a Vida Verde t-shirt; volunteers that work 2 days will receive a free Vida Verde hoodie to rock at the event (and forever after). Snacks, lunch, and beverages provided.

We need help with:

DECEMBER 5 | 9AM-5PM: Set up in East Palo Alto (Help us get the event site ready for guests!):

  • Table Set Up/Decorations

  • Electrical/AV Set Up

  • Food/Beverage Prep

  • Ladder/Vertical Tasks

  • Plants Set Up

DECEMBER 6 | 7:30AM - 4:30PM: Event Support in East Palo Alto (Help us behind the scenes during the Celebration & Benefit and Clean Up!):

  • Projection, Lighting, Sound Support

  • Stage Management

  • Childcare

  • Food/Drink Service

  • Greet Guests with V.V. Students

  • Parking
