Sponsor 1 Student’s Overnight Trip to Vida Verde: $200
Donation pays for food, lodging, instruction, trip preparation and the
following experiences: students will milk goats, make cheese, hike and
explore the forest, investigate a marsh and tidepools, touch sheep wool,
learn to spin yarn, plant seeds in the garden, harvest organic vegetables
and cook their meals and cleanup, eat together outdoors, sing songs and tell
stories around a campfire, sleep in teepees, and go home exhausted!
Vida Verde is a registered non-profit
501(c)(3). We rely on donations from generous foundations and individuals.
Our goal in fundraising is to establish a relationship with our investors. We
would be honored if you would agree to become a part of this relationship.
If you need more information after reading our website, or if you need some
questions answered, please give us a call or an email. If you decide to make
a contribution, you will not only be kept up-to-date on the progress of the
students that Vida Verde serves, but you will also be invited to spend time
here at the site and witness first-hand the results of your contribution.

2. 15-passenger van or other bus- diesel (to run on alternative fuel!)
for transporting students
3. Any vehicle, running or not. We have a vehicle donation program that
sells the cars for us and gives us the money.
4. Raincoats in all sizes (preferably kid's sizes, but some are also
needed for chaperones)
5. Roadworthy trailer
6. Warm jackets in all sizes
7. Magnifying glasses

9. Wildlife and/or plant id books: pocket size are best
10. Binoculars: small ones for students
